Unfiltered Tap Water
Most households simply drink water straight from the tap. But in Spain, tap water is often hard — high in calcium and magnesium — and treated with heavier chlorination due to calcareous soils. In Mediterranean coastal areas, desalination adds further variability to taste and mineral content.
Bottled Water
